Portmahomack

Portmahomack, where I grew up, is a tiny coastal village in the north of Scotland.  If picturesque villages and sandy beaches are your thing then “The Port” (as the locals call it) is for you.  With The Port facing west over the Dornoch Firth, it is subject to some cracking sunsets! Also, Tarbatness Lighthouse, the third tallest lighthouse in Britain, is not too far away either! http://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/ullapool/tarbat-ness.shtml
